Abstracts     Abstracts should be sent by email to AVW4@nioz.nl. You can download an example to inspect the layout in MS word format (.doc) or as Rich Text Format (.rtf).     Abstracts should be filed as RTF (rich text format) files. They should be sent as an attached file to an Email to avw4@nioz.nl no later than 1 March 2005. All typing should be in English, and preferably in Times New Roman 12 pt. The title should be in capitals. Authors’ names and addresses should be laid out as shown with the presenting author marked by an asterisk. Your abstract should be informative and contain a concise statement of the objective of the study, methodology, results and conclusions. Uncommon abbreviations must be defined before being used as an abbreviation in the text. The length of the abstract should not contain more than 250 words excluding title, author(s), and affiliations. Authors should indicate their preference for oral or poster presentation. If the number of requests for oral presentations exceeds the time available in the programme, it will be necessary to ask some authors to change to a poster presentation. Decisions on the acceptance of abstracts, their place in the programme etc. will be made by the Scientific Committee. Abstracts will not be accepted until registration and payment have been received from the presenting author.
